Mario Kart has long been one of the best "Party Games", and this version is no exception. I have a five year old niece who can pick this up and play it alongside her mom, dad, and me. Lots of vehicle types to choose from, lots of items to unlock, and the hilariously enjoyable gameplay that has long been a hallmark in this series. This was one of my first purchases after picking up a Switch, and i was not disappointed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fun and enjoyable to pick up and play with friends or family.

A game worth having, if you have a switch, buy this game. If you have the wiiu version but have a switch, it’s a better version to have!!!
For one, I had the game already for my WiiU and I wasn’t sure if I was getting the same experience, let me tell you it’s an upgrade from the old WiiU version. By default you can enjoy a 2 player game rights away thanks to the switch allowing each joy-con as independent controllers. Not to mention added game mechanics like double items and a much better and preferred battle mode, if you’re rebuying the game just to race new tracks you might be disappointed as there’re little to no new tracks other than the battle mode and pre-included dlc tracks from the previous game. But the experience is like new and the ability to take the game around as easily as the console, makes this game a must have for party games!!!

Great game for any family
It's Mario Kart, it is great fun especially with family or friends. This Deluxe edition is especially good because it includes extra tracks, and it has many characters to choose from. In fact, it has the most tracks I have seen in any other Mario Kart game, complete with many different trophy cups. The selection means there is bound to be a favorite track and character for everyone. Being able to play on the Switch is great since it is so portable, and Mario Kart is great for family trips and things. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars for me is that it is much more costly compared to the Wii U version, but the price difference was worth it for the benefits the switch provides and having the DLC tracks included helps.

MarioKart Bliss!
Having only played a couple of races, this is an awesomely fun MarioKart! Even my 3 year old daughter had a blast, and she's still learning how to use controllers. It's so easy to pick up and everything is at your disposal. Having it on the Nintendo Switch is even better because it can come with us wherever we go. A must have Nintendo game!

It’s Mario Kart!
Awesome game. Lots of fun with 2-4 players. The best part is, for kids there is assistance mode where it will help you stay on the track and auto accelerate. You can turn off either or both. I honestly use the assistive steering sometimes because of the sharp corners in a lot of the tracks. It doesn’t completely steer for you it just keeps you from running off the track, and if you do it steers you back on it. The characters are great. My wife and I like watching the replays after the race to see the highlights. Lots of cool vehicles to unlock and customize. You can change your character which changes the color scheme of the kart, then pick your wheels and parachute, all of which change the dynamics of the kart. From speed, acceleration, weight and traction you can customize your kart depending on the track you select. Enemy’s are difficult on 150cc races and up which is a nice challenge. A few new weapons and some classics as well. Great game for the whole family and a must have for all switch owners.
