The goal of the game is to defeat the main bosses. First you must fight a huge wind blowing tree. This is accomplished by shooting apples at it. In the second level you go to Castle Lololo, where you must fight the evil twins, Lololo, and Lalala. Next is the Floating Islands. There you must take to the skies an fight a huge cannon ball shooting blimp. Level four is Bubbly Clouds. Here you fight Kracko, a spiky cloud with an eye in it. The fifth and final level is called Mount Dedede. King Dedede is the final boss, but before you face him you must fight all of the bosses you already fought in previous levels. | |

A Great Classic Game
This game shows that great gameplay makes a game timeless. Sure, it pales graphically in comparison to today's games- you'd expect that from a twenty-plus year-old game for a black-and-white (or black-and-green as it were) handheld system but it still plays great. It's a quick and short game designed to be completed in one sitting. It also lacks the ability copy system that the Kirby series has become known for (that wouldn't be introduced until the second game in the series). The controls are tight and the difficult ramp is consistent throughout. This was one of the best games released for the original Gameboy.

Nintendo Game Boy Kirby's Dream Land
Kirby's Dream Land for the Game Boy has awesome graphics considering the age of the game itself 1992. I have played this Kirby game and the Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance and this one seems to be better as the bosses are easier and it is more kid friendly as it isn't as expensive as Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland or Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. If I were to pick a Kirby game for your child or just for yourself or as a present I would pick this Kirby game no other than Kirby's Dreamland 1992 Game Boy. Why you should buy it: Awesome Game, 5 graphics because of age, 5 Gameplay family friendly, Length of game 2 it is very short but very fun. As you have seen my Pokemon Blue review this one has just the twist. Why is it good for kids?: It is not violent, No guns, swords, knives, etc. No fighting just plain fun no MOM I am scared just plain fun you'll have no more kids with nightmares and the kids would fall asleep better since the game is so light going and not violent one bit. As I have seen many Game Boy games here and there this one is not an easy one to find even people paying $20.00 just to own the second one when this one is even better the classic and the first kirby ever put into a game not colorized just Kirby Kirby Kirby all the way through I have played this game all the way through and nothing to scare any kid or any living thing. I would recommend this game for any age as long as they can play and have fun but if they are not having fun with it put a bad review for my review via kirby/guide via kirby. Thanks, koolbubdavel(I know games)!
Legendary Game Boy title
Back in 1992, Nintendo and Sega were at war with their 16-bit consoles. back at the Nintendo HQ, Nintendo had come up with something great; Kirby's Dream Land, a portable sidescroller with a character that would change gaming. King Dedede is an evil king that wants nothing more than to ruin the dreams of the people in Dream land. Kirby is a cute, but dangerous hero who is determined to take down the evil king Dedede, the only way he knows how; to swallow his henchmen and eat them whole! Now this was kirby's first adventure, so there was no copying abilities yet. But regardless, sucking them up and spitting them out at 100 mph sure feels satisfying. also, kirby can fly. Now the music is probably most memorable. it doesn't matter what level you're on; the music rocks. Bottom line, if you want to have 20 minutes of your life dedicated to a lime-green screen (or SP, if you're me or some other modern gamer) this is the way to do it.

Good purchase for younger crowd of video gamers and fair price!
My husband and I purchased this game for our 8 year old son. The graphics were good, person who sold it to us was professional and the cost through Ebay was much more reasonable than anywhere else. I don't usually like video games because I don't believe children should focus so much on electronics, but Kirby is not as violent as most other video games and it can be used as a reward for good behavior. All in all, it's a good choice at my son's age for video games.
