When looking at this title, you'd think it'd be a cute and easy going, tetris type of game. Something good for any kid play with. Forget it. Be warned. This game is very difficult even on the easiest setting. The computer is without mercy and you'll find yourself constantly repeating matches to get ahead. This is about...10 times more difficult than a standard Tetris game. While you're trying to figure out how to create an avalanche to win the match, the computer is already piling bubbles over your stacks, preventing you from achieving any sort of avalanche. I'm not new to this type of game, but was very disappointed when even in the practice mode, the game was frustrating. You have to be gifted with super fast reflexes. A quick sharp mind. A wizard. Which sadly, I am not.

Classic Puzzle Game
Kirby’s Avalanche is a great puzzle game similar to Tetris. In Kirby’s Avalanche you must match up similar colored blobs. Every time you do this, a “rock” is dropped onto your opponent’s side (hence Kirby’s “Avalanche”). If you match up multiple colors at once and form a combination, several rocks will be dropped onto your opponent’s side. The single player mode is fun and challenging, and the two player mode adds a lot more to the game. Highly recommended, a great game. Pros: - Fun puzzle game - Colorful graphics - Fun two-player mode Cons: - Music can get annoying

A Good Puzzle Game.
This is a good game. It is a puzzle game that doesn't really use Kirby, except when he Puts down his enemies before a match. The concept is a lot like Dr. Mario although it can be related to Tetris. It is an average puzzle game that is good on the Super Nintendo. Tetris and Dr. Mario is probably a better puzzle game on the SNES. Recommended to the average gamer.
