it has music in the fire temple (adult link) that was later changed on subsequent cartridges. (check the model stamp numbers online for more info on this) one of the best games on the nintendo 64, one of the best games developed by nintendo, one of the best games, quite possibly, of all time. yes, you can get a cheaper rerelease on 3DS.. BUT, the original cart on original hardware produces some of the most epic ambiance (fog, midi) & imaginative storytelling I have ever seen in my entire life. seriously epic. if you have never played, I recommend pretending there's no internet besides dial-up and making sure to not consult any walk-throughs or guides whatsoever. i spent months as kid solving puzzles, fishing, and just playing around on the overworld map. 100% got all the hearts, wandering ghosts, and all the gold spiders/ my mom saw me playing and was hooked, she even beat it before I did! The legend of zelda ocarina of time, is a perfect example of why nintendo will always have a special place in our hearts.

Great game. Brings back many memories!
I don't know what I can say about this game that hasn't been written about in over one-hundred other reviews since its release. It's a must-have game for any fan of the Zelda franchise, arguably the best in the series. One of very few games to receive a 10/10 from EGM magazine (Metal Gear Solid is another game given the rare 10/10 by them) in a time when there wasn't incentive to give top ratings to games. Honestly, I recommend reading reviews on GameFAQs (watch for spoilers in the forums - the game IS almost twenty years old...) before purchasing if you don't know much about it, but you wouldn't be disappointed if you did just purchase a copy and go into it fresh. Lots of "extra" content outside of the main quest (Can you catch the Loach while fishing?) Here are some things off the top of my head that you can look forward to: Adventure Friends Fishing Riding Epona Skulltula hunting Playing an ocarina Playing "The Simpsons" theme on the ocarina Swinging swords around wildly Breaking vases! Things you may dislike (you'll find out why after playing): Water temple Navi Hope this helps!

The Video Game of all Video Games
I'm so happy to be reunited with one of my childhood games! I couldn't really remember much about Ocarina of Time, it had been a long time, and getting to relive those moments is the best thing ever. Truly the best game of all time. I appreciate that the cartridge itself is also in great condition and I'm glad I got my hands on a copy sooner rather than later. I'm completely thrilled with this purchase!

A masterpiece.
My dad bought me this game when i was 9 years old. It stopped working and it broke my heart that i had to throw away something that my dad bought for me from when i was 9 years old. But i Re-obtained this game January of last year and it's a masterpiece but has a heartbreaking ending because the protagonist loses his childhood due to the "Master Sword" sealing him away and also because of the protagonist not being able to equip/use any of the weapons/armor/items that Child Link can use but not Adult Link and Adult Link can use but not Child Link overall great game.

Got the item as described, no surprises there! I'm so happy because the OoT gold cartridge is version 1.0 of the game! And the MM cartridge is holographic! So cool! And both games work no problem! Thank you!
