Mag Launcher may have succeeded in rescuing Linear Cannon, but his battle with the bursar is still being waged even half a year later. Luckily, Mag is not one to rest on his laurels. His exploits from the first game earned him the title of the number one adventurer of his town, and various forces have taken notice. So Mag is quick to hop a train to Museville when he receives an enigmatic request by that particular branch of the Society. Mag and his friends will have to tour many new ruins and other dungeons searching for treasures while doing the work that can't be trusted to anyone but Mag. The random dungeons from Evolution: The World of Sacred Device are almost completely gone in favor of more traditional preplanned dungeons. This more focused dungeon design allows for greater texture variety and design complexity in general. Combat is primarily the same with Cyframes (technology that has been found in ancient ruins) -- and whatever else that ancient civilization saw fit to make and then lose to time -- blazing, pounding, and blasting the enemy. Players also get to shift between two different camera views. One allows a wide view while the other brings things down into a tight chase cam view that lets you see the town and dungeons from the point of view of the characters. With a direct continuation of the story in the first game, new weapons and armor, and the original Japanese voice-overs intact, Evolution 2: Far Off Promise may just very well deliver what fans of the first are looking for. |

I bought the first one...
Good Dreamcast games are falling into the hands of more and more collectors making them harder to find every year. I played and loved the first Evolution game and jumped at the chance to own the sequel.
Evolution Of Evolution
The battle scenes are very much like the original but with a different story.I think the graphics are average and the sound decent. The are many areas to travel.
This game is awesome! Had a blast playing it!
This game definitely has been fun to play, a very engrossing game that will fill hours of your time with action & adventure. Highly Recommend!
Worth the buy for you DC gamers
One of the more intriguing DC platforms. Finishing the game takes a LONG time .. so good for many hours of fun. 2 thumbs up
