| Venture into the bowels of hell itself to save a devastated town from a demonic threat in Blizzard's Diablo. Inspired by such early computer titles as Rogue and NetHack, Diablo is an action RPG with randomly generated dungeons, items, and monsters. Choose from a male warrior, female rogue, or a male sorcerer before exploring the dark and decrepit dungeons alone or with up to three friends online. Each fantasy archetype is individually rated in strength, vitality, dexterity, and magic, influencing your character's damage, health, armor class, and mana, respectively. The action is viewed from an isometric perspective as you complete quests and attack skeletons, goat men, gargoyles, and other vile creatures. Defeating enemies will grant you experience points as well as equipment of varying quality to improve your hero. | |

One of the great three Blizzard games before World of Warcraft. Diablo II (along with Diablo II: Lord of Destruction) is one of the best games I've ever played, and it still works on a Windows 7 computer, which is great because it was originally released during the age of Windows 95. It also works for Mac OSX. Network games are a breeze. You can use the same key for all your installs if you're only using it for Single Player or LAN games(only one person can use it on Battle.net). Finally, Blizzard updated it back in 2009 as part of promoting Diablo III. This means that despite the age of the game, Blizzard still supports it (similar to Starcraft). Overall, it's a great purchase. Not expensive because of age, but I would hardly consider Diablo II obsolete.
very nice condition and the seller was very fair with me and I hope he feels I was fair with him.
At first I had some problems with the disc, it looked like new but it kept telling me it was missing a file that it needed to run. That night with the lights on, I could see that something clear was on the disc- I don't know what it was ( maybe in transit or customs ) but it washed off fine with a mild soap and water. It works fine and I've played all the way to Diablo but haven't concurred him yet.

Diablo Battlechest II
Diablo I, the first game in this epic duo, is a great learners game for a soon-to-be gamer, easy and fun to play, with many choices of characters and exciting items. Diablo II, another great game, though more advanced as the first, still ment for a learner with more choices of characters, new items, and a whole new way of gameplay, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Expansion adds a whole plethra of new items and two new characters to choose from. I bought this game, already played it before, both of them, for some great and easy playing time after playing World of Warcraft. This game is ment for the new players of RPG's with it's simple and easy gameplay.
1996 Game of Year... For a reason
This game is still fun to this day. It got game of the year and there is a good reason for it. This game led to an even bigger franchise and Blizzard Entertainment still continues to make this series. Diablo is one of my favorite RPG's of all time. You just cant beat the idea of battling the demons and monster's of Hell to enslave Diablo into the soul stone. Deckard Cain was voted one of the best companions to have on your side, and in this game this is where you will find him. This game is epic and should never be forgotten, get a copy of this game now before there are no more circulating. No longer sold in stores
A definite must have
This game is one of those must have RPGs that immerses the player in wonderful random dungeons with horrific demons and monsters. The player can choose playing online with others for some party style dungeon mayhem or wreak havoc upon the denizens of evil on their own in single player mode. With many different types of characters to choose from this game offers players a large assortment of fighting styles that anyone could be happy with. Being one of the greatest games of all time, this one stands tall in the happy memories section for many gamers.
