| PopCap's word-based puzzler brings its mix of match-three gameplay and Scrabble-like spelling to DS screens for the first time in Bookworm. Players are given a grid full of lettered tiles, with the goal of connecting at least three letters to form words and feed Lex the Bookworm's insatiable appetite. Spelling longer words, words with uncommon letters, and using reward tiles earns gamers extra points, but burning tiles must be removed from the board before they reach the bottom of the screen, or else the game is lost. There are 20 themed book collections and 18 library rooms to unlock, and players can test their vocabulary in "Classic," "Action," or wireless "Multiplayer" modes. | |

I'd have to say that for myself and my daughter that Bookworm is addicting. I had been renting it from Gamefly and after 3 months decided I should return it and purchase my own. It's fun, fast, makes you think. You are always trying to better your score. The only thing I didn't like was the way the disc worked when playing with 2 DS's. It wasn't exactly the same as playing alone with one system. It was slower and you each took turns, it wasn't really playing against each other. I would recommend Bookworm to anyone who likes puzzle type games, and working on their spelling skills, all while having fun doing it.
Bookworm DS Game
I am 50 Years old, And I like to play a Nintendo DS also. But I love Word Games, Brain Age Games, Scrable, Mario's, etc. The Bookworm DS Game is a great game to keep my mind alert and thinking. So I personally like this game. I am still waiting for the Wheel Of Fortune DS Game to be made. Anyone out there know where to write to Please let them know we need a Wheel-Of-Fortune DS Game
Portable and Addicting...
This game has always been addicting for me. My kids enjoy it too and now it's easier for them to take it with them and teach them spelling at the same time. There is so much "texting", now a days, that kids use abbreviations and sometimes forget the proper spelling of words. In my opinion, I think this a fun learning tool for them.
