Product Information | |
The Xbox 360's first flight combat game has players strapping into the cockpits of 42 authentic aircraft to fight in some of World War II's defining aerial battles. Cast in the role of a squadron commander, players and their wingmen will engage the enemy in Western Europe, across the Pacific Ocean, and over Pearl Harbor in a series of 18 missions. While special attention has been given to the look of each plane, from the P-51 Mustang and P-38 Lightning to the B-17 Flying Fortress and the British Spitfire, the action-oriented controls have been designed to be accessible for all skill levels. After conquering the skies in the solo campaign, players will be able to engage in dogfights and cooperative team play with up to 16 pilots via Xbox Live. | |

Good graphics
Compelling gameplay
Good value
Good game.
This is actually a good game.First ill talk about the graphics whish are very nice, air combat never looked so good the grass, water, trees and the building are nice the planes look realistic. The only problem with the graphics is the people which are like blocks even though you never really see them every once and awhile you will be taking off and see them running around.Other than that it has pretty good graphics.Okay next is gameplay which real good not to mention fun dogfignts sometimes are a bit easy but that is okay it is a pretty long game.Controls take a little getting used to but once you do it will be a piece of cake manuevering your plane around stuff."be care not run into a building of faceplant into the water".Sound is good as far as the planes and environment but the people just uhhh I didn't know german and japanese spoke english to each other in bad accents, and joe the southern hick his voice gets annoying after awhile.Multiplayer is pretty good it has plenty of gametypes but what really takes the cake for this game's multiplayer is that it has 16 player co-op that is great.Overall this is a pretty good game with great graphics decent gameplay and good multiplayer the controlls take some getting used too and the sound could use some this is a game ill be playing for a while.
Blazing Angels -- Flaming Crashes not a simulator
The game itself is good and is a good play. But, much of the stuff I read about it before I purchased it, made it sound like a flight simulator. It is not a flight simulator game, it is a flying shooter. The difference? Well, if you are expecting realistic performance flying WWII planes, this is not what the game provides. You only have basic steering, there is no trim or instruments. Although they give the planes different names and use pictures of the original planes, the flight characteristics do not really change to match the original planes, the plane naming is just a way to change armor and weapons options. It does play well, since unlike a true simulator, you don't have to worry about the mechanics of flying and all the technical stuff that goes with it. So, my suggestion is that if you are looking for a flight simulator, keep looking, if you want a fun multi-player flying shooter, this is for you.
Worth The Price? You Decide.
My husband bought this game for his XBox 360 on Saturday night. He started playing it Sunday morning, and stuck to it like glue until mid-afternoon. He raved about how realistic the game seemed, great graphics, great plot, just an all-around excellent playing experience. So good that he picked back up on it Sunday evening, playing non-stop until midnight or so, and after work on Monday, he got back into it again. Then he ran into the problem. Monday evening, he discovered that he had beaten the game. Entirely. In approximately 11 hours, the game was finished. The game was great in content, but after paying $39.99, and only getting 11 hours of playtime out of it, was it really worth it? I caution the serious adult gamers out there to consider the length of the game when purchasing Blazing Angels. You'll get a great game-playing experience, but just as you're really getting into it, the game is over.
A great Combat Game, Arcade game, and flying game.
I like this flying game. The missions are challenging and exciting. http://forums.highdefdigest.com/showthread.php?p=781358#post781358 User ID: aievideogames Name: Brian Hoolahan Company: Alliance International Electronics 608 Carson Dr Bear, DE 19701 City: Bear State: DE Country: United StatesPhone: (302) 838-3880 This seller will RIP YOU OFF like he did me. I bought an Xbox 360. The first one came in and did not work. The machine broke a $50 game. I sent back the machine, a remote controller and the broken game. (another 30 bucks) The seller sent me a new machine and the face plate is broken on it. He did not replace the controller and game like he said he would. I left a negitive feedback on ebay and he started to threaten me. He calls names and swears at his customers. I tried to go through Pay Pal - they cancelled my claim becuase I didn't send the machine back. I would have been out 100 bucks! 45 for 3X shipping and a 50 bucks game. The seller then said that he wouldn't send anythng back until I removed the feedback. I removed the feedback and waited another two weeks. When I finally got the package the game was still broken. He promised to fix it. Do not do business with him! Do business with aievideogames and you will regret it! BEWARE!
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII a great visual
The game has great graphics. The game has dull action and lame missions. The dog fights are easy and not much fun because its over quickly. The voice overs are terrible and annoying. If you want a WW2 fighter game check it out. My Rank 6.1 out of 10 Good - Good multiplayer options--provided you can find anyone else playing Bad Dull mission objectives; easy dogfights; downright offensive enemy voice acting. Final A RENTAL
