The third and final chapter in Ezio Auditore's journey from a Florentine noble to a grand master assassin focuses on a quest to locate five ancient seals that are keys to the clandestine brotherhood's future. Ezio must seek out clues in 16th century Masyaf, Cappadocia, and Constantinople, treading the same ground his predecessor Altaïr covered hundreds of years before. As an older, wiser Ezio, you must master new techniques and technology to ensure your survival against overwhelming odds. Once again players will use a combination of climbing, stealth, and acrobatics to seek out and eliminate key targets of the Templar order. Ezio is now equipped with a hookblade that can be used for sliding across ropes, scaling buildings, or attacking enemies. Ezio can also craft a variety of bombs and make use of a heightened "eagle sense," allowing him to see targets even while enshrouded in smoke. Ezio is not alone in his journey; he'll encounter multiple allies and fellow assassins who will provide assistance when needed. The original game's protagonist, Altaïr, will also be playable in flashback sequences, bridging the stories of the two assassins for the first time in the series. Assassin's Creed: Revelations also builds upon the multiplayer component introduced in 2010's Brotherhood, offering new game modes, maps, and characters. No matter which mode you choose, you'll earn experience points to gradually increase in rank, unlocking new gadgets and techniques to use while battling rivals from around the world. |

Wonderful game!
Ezio is hot even as an old man, and his journey tracing Altair's final years can really serve as a humbling lesson in the real world about being content in our lives. I loved this game. Couldn't stop playing it tell the very end.

An amazing game with a tad bit of repetitive stuff
I received this as a gift from my brother and must say that overall, Assassin's Creed Revelations is an amazing game! The amount of details they put in to the environment and characters are spectacular. However, the dry environment and poverty stricken town lacks color and has repetitive designs on every building. The first thing I noticed was how complicated the map looked to navigate; being a dark navy blue with bright white details marking every building can be an eye sore with such contrast. But after a while you start to adjust to how to get around or you can do it assassin's creed style: leaping across the rooftops. The story continues to Ezio trying to find out more about his ancestor Altair. Unfortunately, they didn't have very many missions on Altair's side. What's worst is that learning Desmond's side of the story isn't exactly thrilling either. While solving boring and tedious puzzles to untangle Desmond's memories from the animus, Desmond sees vague images of his memories on the walls of which he talks about. And of course the combat is smooth as always to how Ezio defeats his enemies. However, you'll start to really notice how repetitive some moves can get. And we all know not every game can be perfect so of course Assassin's Creed fans will know how glitchy combat can be at times and this game does have a few glitches. Ezio seems harder to double assassinate in groups of people, bombs sometimes don't affect guards, when Ezio does assassinate guards with his hidden blade; guards can take too long to fall and just die, and Ezio sometimes takes too long to pull out his weapon at the beginning of fights which give the guards that split second to land an attack on you before you can counter it. This can be a pain when you're trying to finish missions while taking no damage to get that 100% synchronization.

If you love Assassin's Creed, buy it.
This is overall a great game. If you have played the previous titles you will enjoy this one. There are only a few tweaks from the previous game, but it adds to it and creates a different dynamic. For example, bomb making invokes the use of more tact and the use of the hook blade animates the gameplay in a new way. The only reason I would not give four stars is that the new weapon layout is somewhat annoying and takes getting used to, and the underground environments feel like a rehash of Prince of Persia or previous AC titles. All in all a great title.

Amazing game! The story is so compelling and the parkour aspect makes the game enjoyable for players who like action.

Great game. I like all the assassin's creed saga. Had to finish this one up. Played perfectly no problems.
