Wake yourself up!
Time to take responsibility for your emotional, physical and spiritual well being! Echart is the teacher to start your journey to better place! You dont have to wait until death or a future date to find a better place! I cant recommend a better teacher..echart reads his own audio books and i find both written and audible combined with free you tube videos to be very helpful. Add eckhart to 1 hour of you day for 30 days and see if you can notice a difference:)Time to take responsibility for your emotional, physical and spiritual well being! I Love it but you might not
I will preface my review by saying that these type of books are generally very polarizing: either you love it because the message speaks clearly to your heart, or you're compelled to prove it inaccurate because it does not. Having said that, I truly love this book because it has the special ability to always put me in that state of amazement whenever I read it. I have read it beginning to end, but I really use it to help me enter the 'now' by reading just a few passages. For me, it does not matter which passage, I can literally open any page and read a few lines, and I am there. Even thinking about this book relaxes my mind and puts me in that state. For that, I consider it very special. This is probably the 5th or 6th copy I am buying, because I keep giving them away. I don't claim that ... Poignant and Deep
Got a great deal in this wonderful book. I wasn't in place to be able to understand and enjoy the content in previous years, however; I am deeply enjoying it now. I am really learning a lot.

The Power of Now (TPON) has the power to fundamentally and profoundly change your life if read with an open mind (or "no-mind" - inside joke). It gives you a radically different perspective on life and teaches you to find peace within, no matter your outer circumstances. Some may find the reading a bit difficult at first, but keep with it and all will become clear as the author's concepts become easier to understand. Don't let the subtitle "a guide to spiritual transformation" scare you off...Tolle writes from a non-denominational viewpoint and his insights are more psychological than religious, although you will likely want to explore your spiritual side more deeply once you read TPON. His concepts are strongly influenced by Zen Buddhism, but you ... I like how he explains some of Christianity's confusing concepts with clear interpretations of Jesus' teachings. But the overall concept is in becoming truly "aware/conscious" in the present, and letting go of neurotic mind-patterns: very simple, but not easy. TPON will give you practical ways to practice this. It's a bit repetitive, but sometimes re-stating the same concept in a different way will reach different readers more clearly. It only serves to drive home the book's excellent principles. Highly recommended for anyone on a spiritual path as well as those just wanting a happier, more peaceful and loving life.

The power of now is NOW
Recommend by my close friend Denise. My Father passed away May third after a five year battle with Dementia. This book was such a good read and is definitely helping as I go through the grieving process.
