A teenage fugitive with an incredible secret races to stay one step ahead of the mysterious forces seeking to track and destroy him in this sci-fi action thriller from director D.J. Caruso (DISTURBIA, EAGLE EYE). With three dead and one on the run, the race to find the elusive Number Four begins. Outwardly normal teen John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) never gets too comfortable in the same identity, and along with his guardian, Henri (Timothy Olyphant), he is constantly moving from town to town -- the perpetual new kid in a series of strangely familiar schools. Despite the fact that his nomadic lifestyle has made it difficult to form meaningful connections, John experiences the joy of first love with a beautiful young woman (Dianna Agron) and begins to unlock his full potential after arriving with Henri in a small Ohio town. With each passing day, John gains a stronger grasp on his extraordinary new powers, and his bond to the beings that share his fantastic fate grows stronger.

    Bought it internationally back in mid July (paid for all the extras), however, item was refunded before it was even shipped off (it's now the end of August). Wasn't interested in a refund as much as I was recieving the item, even if it was in "used" condition. Now because of the tarrif's, i can't even buy it in the US at all because Australia isn't exchanging items between our 2 Countries without additional complications.

    Action and Great Flow to the Story

    This movie will pull you into the Story with great character's and above average acting. Wonderful Movie to watch with the under 15 children in your home. Very few words that will offend, and there is a Very loveable Dog that has a great Twist. Take the time to get this DVD and enjoy some time with family watching a great movie! I can not wait until there is another movie to follow this one. I actually gave this DVD away to a 12 year old girl at my Local Window Tint Shop. While getting my car windows Tinted, I took this movie to watch while waiting. The Tint man's two daughters (16 & 12 )were there, and could not take their eyes off the TV Screen.

    Action

    Good movie with those from another planet trying to hid from another group of hostile, here on Earth. The would be assassins meet there match when two of the friendlies use their recently acquired powers and turn the tables on the enemy.
