Take apart your mirror housing with a starp knife, don't worry it will come apart. Then just spray paint the grey housing. Let it dry and reassemble it back on your mirror and install it on your car. I just wished Volkswagon built light trucks.

They sent me a new one at no costs and I could keep the first one for free. However, they sent me exactly the dark grey again although Silver Grey was advertised!. I decided to keep it and paint it silver grey. Don't know fit yet. Must applaud their Customer Service for fast responses and sending new one promptly. Would be perfect if correct color was sent.
