funest fighter ever
I swear I gave this game so much flak for being street fighter but with tekken characters but ass it turns out thats just fine. So much detail and modes put into the game only thing I still find annoying is the graphics. I hate them. That sf 4 ink art style is ugly. You can barely see the characters faces clearly.

I will start of by saying I was super hyped for this game to come out. I love Street Fighter and I love Tekken but this game is just alright... Not good, not bad, just alright. Kind of reminds me of drinking a lukewarm beer, it gets the job done, but it would have been so much better if it was cold. The character line up and graphics are pretty good, especially on PS3 because you get 4 exclusive characters. The controls are pretty fluid, and the gem system is a nice added touch to spicen the game up. The tag team system feels somewhat like Mortal Kombat, and I like the fact that when one character KOs the round is over. The first thing that rubs me the wrong way however is the lame mediocre story, nothing like previous Tekken games. Its more like the lame story mode on MVC3, where they could have made it epic but instead chose the easier route. There are only 10 levels to fight in, only 2 of those are somewhat memorable. This makes the game lose replay value fast in arcade mode. What really irks me about this game, and many other Capcom games is the fact that they love taking advantage of DLC, even though most of the DLC they offer are things that should be unlocked in the game after you beat it so many times or unlock this trophy, etcetera... Thats what makes good replay value, and what makes me want to come back and play the game over and over. It seems those days are long gone. But what REALLY gets me is most of the DLC is already located on the disc of the game, so when you buy the DLC from Capcom all you are buying is basically an unlock code to unlock that DLC on the disc that you already purchased. Believe me, I have the money to purchase the DLC, but I will not be further fattening the pockets of a money hungry corporation that used to make awesome games but now is taking the easy road. All that being said, Street Fighter X Tekken is a decent fighting game that kept me entertained for the first couple of days, but it fell far short from its intended target.
Fun game for th eentire family.
I don't know if this is the best game, (Did I mention I'm not great nor a pro at street fighter?) but on the fun level, it's a great game to play with friends and family. The graphics are amazing. Not only that, but some characters are "sketchy" (no pun intended). Anyway, this is a great game to pick up if you have friends/ family who are willing to play! Will provide hours of entertainment due to the wide variety of characters to choose from. 10 out of 5 stars.
Great Product! New as advertised. Speedy Delivery!
I had an xbox 360 with Street Fighter 4 and my house was burglarized. I loved that game. It took a while so i got a PS3 on Ebay also, but by that time no one was really playing SF4. So when i heard about this i was like, i gotta get it. I've wanted this game since it came out. I was able to sneak and buy without the mrs knowing. Now she plays with met. I was raised on streetfighter and played tekken only at the arcade. (Off subject) And if it matters, and it should if you're a fighting game fan. Will some one please bring back "Killer Instinct".
Nice cross over title
Always wondered about what Street fighter vs Tekken would be like since the first cross over games. Nice graphic, great combat system. easy to get used to when learning combos. The downloaded characters show have been included in the game, dont like the fact you have to pay for them and they are already on the dics plays like street fighter 4 with a better combos system
