Well, even the most jaded gamers won't find the same problem in Diablo II. Featuring five unique classes, several towns, and dungeons enough to fill four compact discs, this game is huge. Containing the massive assortment of weapons and armor used to wage war upon the undead in the first game--and adding loads more--you won't run up against a shortage of ways to mutilate, massacre, and utterly destroy your competition.<br><br>Once again, this newest Blizzard release includes free internet play on the company's Battle.net internet gaming service. But, as cheating was most likely the worst problem with playing Diablo on Battle.net, the team working on the sequel has taken great pains in redesigning the entire game engine from the ground up to eliminate the frustration in fighting unbeatable opponents.

    Although not the item in the picture the seller was very open and apologised. As I wanted these for customs it didnt really matter that it was the newer version. Theyre great quality and all arrived in excellent condition. Excellent value too. I was offered a cancellation and the seller was very apologetic but I'm happy anyway

    Must-have old classics

    For those into hack-and-slash games, this family of games is an absolute must-have (especially for collectors). Be warned: you will get engrossed so quickly that morning will become evening all too fast as the game literally sucks you into the story. There are countless reviews of both games on the web, so I won't re-invent the wheel here. The first game in the series runs best on older machines from the late 1990s/early 2000s. The second game in the series is actually still being updated by the developer after an incredible 16 years!

    Diablo II an oldie but goldie.

    Well it took me 3-4 days, scouring the internet, trying to find and download some mods that would let me install, and play the game. It seems that Diablo II, and the Diablo II Lord of Destruction Expansion won't run natively on Win 10 64bit. I finally downloaded Glide 3 to 3DFX Wrapper. Now I can play it, but only at 800 X 600 resolution. I have heard that there are ways to get to play at a higher resolution. If anybody knows where I can find a mod to play D2lod at higher resolutions, I would be grateful.

    Good game but bad support for W 10

    The game is really good game play wise. I know it was built for Win 98-XP, I bought it from here which says it supports W 10 which is false. I had to install, go into properties, then add -w (window flag) then -nofixaspect because if you tried to go full screen it'd crash. I had to go to compatibility set cap mode to Win XP. It is a great game, but if you're expecting native or good support for Windows 10 then don't expect it. I haven't looked into running it in VirtualBox or VMware, it may work.

    the game is as fantastic as i remember it to be when I first played it the instalation takes a few minutes but it's well worth it in the end

    Awesome Single Player or Co-op

    Definitely awesome value on the game. Not amazing graphics as compared with today, however in the old days the graphics were amazing. Amazing storyline and cinematics. Even better playing with friends!
