I'd like to point out that it was also shipped promptly, arrived on time, but the local post office refused to send me any notification of it arriving. Therefore I only got it today, almost a month late. The seller is at no fault, they shipped it on time.       The classic, definitive work on the subject.

      This book, by R. H. Angier, although originally published over seventy years ago in England and the United States, has never been surpassed in its treatment of the coloring or finishing of firearms steel. The book is a must-have treatise for the commercial gunsmith, home-based gunsmith/hobbyist or simply those individuals and shooters with an interest in the subject. Angier demystifies bluing and browning and explains how the various/different processes were accomplished to achieve a variety of specific metal colorations. He lists dozens of "recipes" of chemical ingredients for each process. Anyone with a measure of ingenuity can adapt these processes and procedures to today's world. Most of the book is readily understandable, even with the formal, British English the book is written ...
