The life of wedding-planner Lauren Crandell (Denise Richards) is fraught with personal romantic disaster in this comical Lifetime TV movie. Although her skills at arranging other people's happiness are unrivaled, sad Lauren just can't seem to meet the right guy. But when fireman Nick Corina (Dean Cain) arrives to arrange his wedding to a bride that is, quite frankly, completely unsuitable for him, Lauren falls for Nick's charms and attempts to prise him away from his wretched bride-to-be. Comic shenanigans ensue in this delightful family film.

I DO BUT I DON'T
The phrase of "I do but I don't" sounds awkward, but it is the title of the story of a wedding planner, whose own marriage has failed. This romantic comedy is actually superior to many commercial movie releases of the same type of story. This production was a made-for-tv and that fact certainly shows in scenes. To begin with, there are many voice-overs explaining point-of-views of the Wedding Planner. I think this practice could have been eliminated and the story would have been much better. It certainly stands out as one difference between a commercial and a made-for-television release. The story continues as the wedding planner, Lauren Crandell played by Denise Richards, meets a handsome firefighter, Nick Corina played by Dean Cain, and there is instant attraction. Thinking and ... The length of the story (less than 90 minutes) together with the interesting scenes and script make this production interesting and enjoyable entertainment. One final statement: For those of you who prefer not to purchase the DVD, you can find it on the Lifetime or Lifetime Movie Network frequently.

Sweet and Romantic movie!
Sweet movie. Dean Cain is adorable and enjoy his movies. Loved the story and acting in "I do but I don't"

Light and entertaining romance comedy! Kind of movie that you might want to watch with a girlfriend and eat popcorn just to have a happy time. Not deep and meaningful, but sometimes you just want to have a little laugh and fun ~ then this is one of those movies!

I do (but I don't)
I once saw half of the movie but i could not finish watching it, so I decided to buy it. It is some what similar to "the wedding planner" yet a bit different. It has its funny parts too! :)
