      Powerful. Versatile, & easy to use.

      It is a powerful beast of a saw weighing in at 6 pounds, yet easy to use. The weight of this saw helps reduce vibration. Has a trigger safety, & is compatible with every blade I have tried so far (and I have quite a collection of various brands) I mostly use it with a pruning blade to keep medium sized branches off the fences, but I have used it to cut down a few small trees with no problem.

      DeWalt DCS380B Reciprocating Saw

      Great tool! Its a bit on the heavy side when used with a bigger battery but this thing is an absolute beast! This model has the multi blade option which works great in tight areas or if you have to cut in speakers or lighting above head in a ceiling or something. I bought it as an addition to my DeWalt tool kit.

      Brush buster

      I purchased this mostly to prune trees and cut up brush around my property. I make sure to have good pruning blades on hand. This unit is powerful and has a pretty good cycle time with the batteries that were included (5.0AH). I do have one complaint and it has to do with the handle design. I suggest wearing a decent pair of gloves when operating this saw. When I first received it I only made a few cuts bare handed and received a blister fairly quick. The "top" part of the handle should be rounded and provide for a more ergonomical fit. Other than that, I have been pleased with this purchase.

      Great product. Great price. Super fast shipping

      DeWalt the leader in cordless power tools. Their products are the best from DIY to the professional. Been using Dewalt for many years and they are tough tools. I have a 20volt impact driver that fell 2 stories to the ground I picked it up and it still works to this day and that was 3 years ago. This is a true story. Very TOUGH tools. So if you plan on buying any cordless or corded make the right choice. Dewalt power tools. Thank you Dewalt.

      Great saw for the money.

      I previously had a porter cable version of this. This is heavier but the extra weight only means less pressure from me to cut. I use it mostly for tree trimming coupled with 5 ah batteries. This is excellent for trimming trees. I don't hesitate to cut 3 inch branches now. Rock the saw up and down and it whips right through. The 5 ah easily keeps up. Cut enough to fill 5 x 10 trailer heaped one and a half times with only 1 and a half batteries. Recommend the fast charger if you get the 5 ah batteries.
