Product Information

Namco brings Wii gamers an updated remake of its highly regarded "2.5D" platformer Klonoa, originally released on PlayStation in 1997. Gamers once again take control of the character Klonoa and his ethereal friend Hewpoe as they set off on a journey to investigate a mysterious crash near their home. The Wii version sends gamers through 14 completely redesigned levels, includes a new "Reverse" mode, and offers entirely new bonus stages. Klonoa also incorporates motion controls, letting players use the Wii Remote to capture and throw enemies, and the Nunchuk to create whirlwinds, but gamers can also play with the Classic Controller or a GameCube controller.

    Item shipped quickly and came exactly as described and shown in pictures. Seems to work just fine and after a little bit of clean up, it's looking not to bad, either. CD drive seems to work fine, but I don't have any games to actually check whether those will boot. Should work just fine for what I need it for. Great seller, very reasonable, good packaging, would recommend.

    Everyone should play this game! It's so much fun and it's a classic.

    Klonoa has always been one of my favourite games, so when I saw it was remade for the Wii I had to buy it. Same great game, but with updated graphics. I love how you are able to replay levels unlike in the original game. I also liked the addition of alternate outfits for Klonoa and the character viewer. Not to mention the fact you have an option on which controller you use to play the game. You can play with the Wiimote and Nunchuk, the Wiimote horizontally, the classic Wii controller or GameCube controller. My only disappointment with the game is the English voice overs, but fortunately you have the option to change that. I thought they were horrible. This may be because I'm so used to their Phantomile voices though. But, this is a minor detail and doesn't effect the gameplay at ...

    Terrific, and for the 5-15 price this game goes for, it's well worth it!

    It's a really short game, but it makes up for it with the solid gameplay Klonoa has always held, and the graphical update(particularly with progressive scan) is gladly welcomed. Because the original Klonoa is most likely never to be released on EUR or NA PSN (But it is in Japan... ), this is a really great port of the original and the best way to get started with the Klonoa series. Highly recommended for all sorts of gamers, and I, personally, had a great time allowing my spouse to play who doesn't like to game much. It was simple enough for her to play, and challenging enough to keep her active and commited to beating it. Always nice to see some videogame love!

    Good and fun.

    The game came with all of it original content inside of it case as advertised and was mainly clean, say a little dirt outside the case, but nothing that a towel could clean. The disc was a little scratch but had no performance issues. I had a blast revisiting this game, before Phantasy Reverie Series was released.

    Memorable

    Ever since I knew Klonoa, I became a huge fan. I’ve been wanting to play the Wii version since I’ve heard a lot back when I was a kid. I started playing Klonoa late since I didn’t had the systems back then and never saw the Wii game in stores. Although the game is easy, it’s still fun to enjoy it! Not the best but a very good game to start for new ppl.

    Don't judge by first appearance

    Klonoa may look like an easy, cutesy game, but I'm amazed by the gameplay. It seems easy enough, at first, but the difficult ramps up as you progress (the final boss proves to be quite the challenge). Plenty of unlockables are available upon beating the game, as well. The only issue I have is how short the game is. It only took me about 3.5 hours to beat the main game. But it's a wonderful classic 2.5D platformer and I can't recommend it enough!
