The book is new, paperback as advertised. The printing is odd--there is no gutter so the text runs right into the crease of the book and is harder to read than it needs to be. Due to shipping in a padded bag rather than a box, one of the corners is dented and the cover is torn. But since it is paperback, that really doesn't bear much on longevity. I glued the torn part of the cover back to the spine and it is not perfect, but it will work. Nice to have a cheap print version available.
