a great start up

Excellent Camcorder
I borrowed a Everio G series camcorder from a friend and was very impressed at how easy it was to record and transfer videos and photos to my iMac. After I gave it back I had to have one. This Camera is a step up from the one I borrowed and I am loving the extra features and increased size of the hard drive. And just like my friends camcorder the files transfer seamlessly to iPhoto and iMovie for further editing and movie making. I recommend this camcorder to anyone that is interested in taking their home movies to the next level. Mini DVs, DVD camcorders are a thing of the past, why would you want to burn it to something until you are satisfied with the final product. Digital camera's have completely taken over the picture taking industry and I imagine that the Hard Disk Drive ... I love the camera!! Let me just say this no camera is going to give you everything you want so you just gotta make a choice and settle for whatever one has the most features you want. I'm still fiddling and familiarizing myself with the camera, so far I love what it does, the quality of the photography and it's ease of use. I'm going to Nicaragua so I'll really be able to put it to the test. I can't wait to see how the anti theft alarm with the auto pepper spray works (just kidding, but it would be nice). Great, convenient camcorder
Shipping was prompt and everything came as descripted. The product has been very easy to master and works great. I got it for traveling, and I like the option to charge with a cord or to charge the battery!
