Good quality, great sound, incredible sustain, easy to play.
I'm a lifelong musician, some 50 years of playing something from guitar, mandolin, mandola, fiddle, banjo, dobro, bass, you name it, if it has strings I've probably played it, so I have a pretty good idea of what makes up a good instrument. I hate to start this review with price because this instrument is in the low end of the bouzouki scale at $169 plus shipping which shipped to the states was $50 extra. And with that said, the reader might think my comments are based on an instrument of that price range. However, despite the relatively low price compared with the Trinity's out there, this is a very good instrument. It is built well, light but solid construction, very good materials and excellent build quality. The neck is straight, the body seams are tight, the finish is very nice. And ... This Irish bouzouki has a good round sound, excellent lows, crisp highs, good playability. The sustain is incredible. This instrument really rings out long after the notes are struck. I am quite pleased with this bouzouki. It is a very nice addition to the arsenal.

This is a great beginners Irish Bouzouki. The sound is quite good for an instrument in this price range. Good: Finish is well done, instrument is very well built, intonation is nearly perfect. Details on the woodwork are surprisingly good, nearly perfect. The wood used is very very high quality. Not as good: tuning machines are very cheap, make sure to grease them before tuning up. Bridge is decent, string spacing isn't quite right but not terrible. Action could The fret ends could use a little dressing, but again, still not a deal breaker. Overall: it's a good instrument and a great value. If I had to buy a bouzouki again, I'd definitely get another from Hora.This is a great beginners Irish Bouzouki. Very good quality Bouzouki
I bought an inexpensive bouzouki and am very happy with it. The tone is deep and lovely. I recommend them highly. I expected it to be OK but nothing special for the price but it exceeded my expectation. They forgot an extra set of strings but sent it separately without my asking. I'll buy from them again.

A fun and folksy, but versatile instrument
I ordered the natural wood bouzouki, and I am very pleased with the product. It was delivered much earlier than expected, was in very good shape, sounds amazing after tuning, and is really easy to pick up. It is a bit smaller than I was expecting, though that's only because I have very little experience with bouzoukis. It is pretty pricey, but then again how can that compare to the countless hours of wonderful, fun music that one can make with it.
