The package shows a Copyright date of 1991 or 1992 and is NEW and has never been used. PC-DOS 5.00 supported thousands of applications programs and was the single tasking operating system choice for the IBM Personal Computer and IBM Personal System/2 families. This version of DOS provided the capability to allow applications on most systems to enjoy significantly more memory space than on previous versions of DOS. IBM PC-DOS 5.00 also offered an enhanced menu-based user interface and improved memory management.
