In the role of a soldier, alone in a devastated urban jungle, players use the super-human abilities provided by a technologically advanced suit to save the world from alien invaders, as they battle through the first-person shooter sequel, Crysis 2. As in the first game, the hero's most important weapon is a high-tech suit that integrates with his body to provide increased defense, enhanced stealth, and various offensive capabilities. The sequel's enemy aliens employ improved situational intelligence and group tactics, calling on players to approach each situation strategically and make the most of the array of powers provided by the suit. <br><br>Written by science fiction author Richard Morgan, the story takes place in an embattled New York City. The metropolis crumbles under a full-on invasion, as aliens return in force to annihilate humankind. Conventional weapons and warfare fail against the onslaught, leaving Earth's salvation to the wearer of the revolutionary Nanosuit 2. Using the integrated stealth, strength, and special abilities provided by the futuristic armor -- along with a selection of highly destructive weapons -- players embark on dangerous missions to strike at crucial vulnerabilities and sabotage the alien assault.<br><br>The game's multiplayer options include "Crash Site," a team-based mode in which players compete for control of resources that appear regularly on the battlefield, and "Team Instant Action," for pick-up-and-play, squad-based deathmatches. Crysis 2 was developed by Crytek, and runs on the German studio's signature "CryEngine" programming platform, designed to produce exceptional graphics on contemporary consoles and home computers. The game can also be played in stereoscopic 3D with compatible equipment.

    Fun Game, worth the money

    I first played this game actaully on the Xbox 360, when it was a playable demo. I found the game to be too 'different' to play correctly and it will take some getting used to to play online. Its almost like a combination of Halo and a Call of Duty game because there are excellent guns, grenades, and so forth and there is also cloaking and 'maximum armor' which is reminiscent of Halo. You can even jump as high as a Spartan. Anyway, the campaign is quite good, there is solid acting, the only detraction being the enemy AI isn't so good.

    Remarkable Game. . .

    The Graphics presented in this game will blow your breath away. While everything looks great some parts look a step of video games and into Real Life!! That is why parts of this game simply show what the PS4 Graphics Will be Like for early games! Just AMAZING. After praising the visuals lets talk gameplay. Weapons have good customization. The overall feeling is the standard COD gameplay with some added Powers that the Nano suit provides you such as super strength, invisibility, Armor, and Vision. All of these features are able to be used any time throughout the entire game. This gives the game a very personal feel, given that u are allowed to play through the game in whatever style u want to. AI for the enemy Aliens is the smartest of any FPS i have ever seen including K3 COD BO, ...

    Limited Edition gives you something you can use for your game.

    Not bad for a limited edition but only comes with a Voucher Code which makes it the "limited edition"...which would be downloadable content...which includes- Scar Assault Rifle/Digital Camo Scar Hologram Decoy Unique Platinum DOG-Tag (displays a players rank in multiplayer and can be viewed by others). Bonus XP (awards additional exp points that boost the players up to rank 5). Something that you can use during the game and not items that you would throw in your desk drawer sitting there useless. Code gets you something you can use.

    fun filled sequel

    Crysis 2 sidesteps the excessive simplification of recent shooters with Nanosuited grace. It mixes destruction with beauty, and manages to deliver a more focused experience than its predecessor while retaining the building blocks of what made the original Crysis unique.
